With the 76th Annual Academy Awards next month, Oscar talk is on the tongues of Hobbits, Elves and Dwarves alike. ‘The Return of the King,’ the third and final film of ‘The Lord of the Rings’ trilogy will most certainly be nominated for Best Picture. In addition, director/writer/producer Peter Jackson should also be nominated for Best Director.
What is it about ‘The Return of the King’ that has captured the attention of both worldwide audiences and the Academy?
Running at three-hours, 20-minutes and 44-seconds long, ‘The Return of the King’ is the third and final chapter in the battle for Middle Earth
