UCI Baseball Shuts Out Bruins

After traveling to Waco, Texas and completing a three-game sweep of 25th-ranked Baylor, both Baseball America and Collegiate Baseball polls ranked the UC Irvine Baseball team 18th in the nation. Winning 10 of its last 12 games, UCI looked to continue their hot streak two days later against UCLA.
Early on, it seemed as if the Bruins would have an answer for the Anteaters
