Star of the Disney channel’s original series ‘Lizzie McGuire’ and movie spin-off ‘The Lizzie McGuire Movie,’ Hilary Duff stars in ‘Raise Your Voice,’ currently in theaters everywhere. ‘Raise Your Voice’ is actually directed by Sean Mcnamara, the same guy who directs ‘That’s so Raven,’ on the Disney channel.
Coincidence? I think not.
‘I know Hilary’s mom, so I called her up and said, ‘Hey! I have this part that I think would be great for Hilary,” Mcnamara said.
It can be that easy only at Disney, the huge conglomerate that is set to gobble up the world, one wholesome image at a time. And along quintessential Disney lines, Duff’s innocent girl-next-door marketing is in full swing.
