A fusion of art and culture light up the sidewalks of the 200 block of Main Street in downtown Santa Ana for the city’s monthly Art Walk, held every first Saturday of the month from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Known to many as the Artist’s Village, this portion of Main Street houses seven large art museums, including the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art and the Cal State Fullerton Grand Central Arts Center, and showcases contemporary art, sculptures and pottery.
Also lining the sidewalks are numerous multiple-story lofts that have been transformed into art galleries where passers-by can stroll in to view the local artists’ masterpieces.
Located at 207 Main Street is one of 25 small studios displaying an eclectic variety of themed art every month.
