Greetings once again, lads and lasses, and welcome back to your favorite DVD column.
More than any other artistic medium, film provides us with the opportunity to get in touch with our humanity. A well-crafted movie will transport its audience out of their lives and into somebody else’s seamlessly and instantly, and once the audience is in that new world they will be able to see and feel everything that happens there. This is true for the sorts of movies that I usually watch for pleasure
