Two comments; 1. Many people make a big deal about the MM being armed. Yes, they are allowed a sidearm. This is not unusual for private citizens living near the border. As a MM you will find yourself in the dark at 2 AM, 5 miles from the main road, 30 minutes from any help, with 20 to 50 strangers coming at you through the brush. Three time I have found myself 50 feet away from armed drug runners. These are strickly defensive weapons. 2. I believe immigrant is a incorrect term. According to a pole taken by the Border Patrol, only 20% of the illegals plan to stay in the country. The one requirement I would insist on for US citizenship is that you want to be an American.
