As I approach Willard Intermediate School, I notice this is no typical school. Fifteen-to 20 foot tall chain-link fences surround the campus and faculty’s cars overflow the small parking lot as several sit on walkways and patches of grass.
As I walk with several UCI students through the front doors of the school, I have to avoid a number of kids who are excitedly talking on their way to their next class. Yes, I am going back to middle school
