Irvine Police Search for Murder Suspect
On April 23, the Irvine Police Department responded to a shooting incident at the parking lot of the Chanteclair Restaurant located at 18912 MacArthur Blvd.
David Pea was killed by a gunshot wound to the upper torso. He was on duty as a security officer. Another victim suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the head. The third victim was physically assaulted.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his early 20s. His vehicle is described as a dark-colored, full-sized sport utility vehicle with chrome wheels and damage to the rear window.
Police are unsure as to the motivation behind the incident and its investigation is ongoing.
