Two true role models have emerged from the world of sports in the last several weeks. NFL star wide receiver Laveranues Coles and the WNBA’s reigning MVP Sheryl Swoopes have both made public disclosures relating to very personal matters in their lives. Coles, a member of the New York Jets, boldly revealed to the New York Times that he had been molested by his stepfather between the ages 10 and 13.
