True story. There once was a priest who was secretary to the bishop. Said secretary
made an agressive sexual move on a subordinate priest. The subordinate priest filed
a civil suit. The diocese paid. One of these to priests was made pastor of a parish
that ministers to a school. You know the one. This is just sooooo wrong.

Sorry but this simply must stop.

I totally agree. Homosexuals pose no threat as long, as with Hetrosexuals, their spirits & hearts are dedicated to the service of Almight GOD. People who are Gay are not animals who rut at the drop of a hat. The people who must be kept out of all positions of trust and authority, including the priesthood, are the sexually predatory and mentally deficient.

There were just as many girls abused by priests as boys despite the ‘report.’ It is just that females are given no credibility when they report. Girls asked for it you know. Do check out on the internet the info by Dr. Gary Schoener who has studied clergy abuse in depth. He has found that girls and boys were abused by priests and that more females are abused by priests than males. Remember that women are low in the church. It looks good, but it is still the same as it has been for centuries only there are no more witch hunts.

The above excerpt is from the article. I think it is true in the same sense that dictators are looked upon highly by citizens and a countries leaders. That is to say their “respect” is a matter of being dictated and being feared. If you dig below the surface many are held with contempt.

The headline was enough for me to get the jest

In my opinion, the priesthood, minister and any position that claims to be a representative for god, is a scam.

I don’t care if you are gay, straight, male or female…..this seeking a position of power and authority by claiming you represent and serve god is a self serving egotistical and power hungry endeavor.

If you want to call these positions of priest, pastor, minister…or anything, then call them CEO, Money Manager, Damage Control Representatives, Church Managers.

But for “goodness” sake, come out of the stone age and admit what these positions which started thousand of years ago are institutions and people obsessed with controlling others and using sheep as tools for their own agenda (not god’s)
