Few artists or bands have been more prolific after their death/disbanding than Tupac Shakur. But one quintessential rock band stands out as having released more of basically the same bunch of songs in different forms than even Norah Jones is capable of.
The Beatles have been put back in the American public’s mind at least two or three times a decade for the last 20 years or so. This has kept them fresh, timeless and accessible to an ever-younger audience.
With Beatles compilation CDs, new listeners are exposed to the Fab Four and hopefully realize that no contemporary band will ever fill the musical shoes of the Beatles
