		<description>I would submit that most 18 to 21 year olds aren&#039;t as smart or ambitious as Mr. Syatt and preface that by saying that I&#039;m 51 years old, which doesn&#039;t mean I know everything, but does give me a broader perspective.  I think if you&#039;re going to college or you have proof that you have a recent paystub or some documentation that you have made any contribution to society whatsoever, then you should be able to buy alcohol at 18.  Otherwise, nyet.

And don&#039;t even get me started on legalizing marijuana.  So many arguments to be made for legalizing it.  Tax it. Control it.  Make crime figures resort to selling cocaine, heroin, OCs, methamphetamines, or whatever and that should &quot;take a bite out of crime&quot; as that dog used to say.  Not only that, but now you remove the people who buy marijuana from being exposed to that same group of criminals.

Then provide free treatment for the people who need it - from alcohol depencies to prescription medication addictions - offer to help these people for FREE!
