Madrigal Dinner Brings King Henry VIII to Claire Trevor
The 26th annual Madrigal dinner, which each year reenacts a unique and interesting event in the life of King Henry VIII, will this year recreate the meeting of Henry VIII and Francis I on the Field of Cloth of Gold in 1520. The meeting between these two leaders resulted in large ceremony that brought together festivity, feasting and politics in a spectacle of Spanish, English and French music.
This award-winning dinner will reenact life in Tudor Court in all areas of song, dance, poetry and food and drink. This year’s menu features items such as soup, figgy pudding and wassail
