ASUCI Spring Elections Near

As the campus walls are slowly decorated by candidate promotional materials, anyone can see that the Associated Students of UC Irvine elections are rapidly approaching.
‘The turnout for candidates this year was pretty good and each position has candidates running for it,’ said ASUCI Elections Commissioner and second-year political sciences major Nikhil Damle. ‘We expect this year’s races to be compelling and competitive.’
One type of advertisement you will not see covering the walls of bridges this year is from the ASUCI office itself because there are no referendums on the ballot.
