The Continuing Hypocrisy of David Horowitz

If ‘Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week’ were really about rallying student support for human rights, why was it not put on by human rights organizations? Why was it solely created and financially sustained by conservative organizations with ties to the administration of President George W. Bush? Last time I checked, the Bush Administration wasn’t exactly part of Amnesty International or Human Rights Watch. Yet David Horowitz, the creator of ‘Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week,’ insists that he is campaigning for minorities and women. An article on his Web site, FrontPageMag.com, however, reveals his actual motivations: ‘The American Association of University Professors
