		<description>The issue is that homosexuality is ultimately a choice. No one is born gay, no studies have come close to proving that (and there have been many attempts). It is interesting that we know view the differences between men and women to be mostly a social construct, while homosexuality is innate and genetic. This idea of sexuality as an identity is a very recent phenomenon. It has only been within the last century that people identified themselves as &#039;gay&#039;.

Homosexual &#039;marriage&#039; has incredibly high rates of domestic abuse (far above that of heterosexual marriages), and is not marriage in the same monogamous sense as heterosexual marriage.

&#039;Gays&#039; don&#039;t want equal rights. They already have those - they can marry someone of the opposite sex just as I can. What they want is special rights. The problem is that marriage is and always has been, a religious ceremony. Gay &#039;marriage&#039; is a perversion of that.</description>
