No. 7 seed UCI will take on No. 6 seed Cal Poly at approximately 8:30 pm tonight (Wednesday, March 10) in the first round of the Big West Tournament. The ‘Eaters will try to keep up their momentum from their epic comeback win against Cal Poly in the last game of the year. They will need to win four games in four days to make the NCAA Tournament.

Aided by a horrendous offensive foul call with 5 seconds left, Cal Poly pulled out a 73-69 victory over the Anteaters. UCI led by as much as 14 in the game, with Darren Moore, Patrick Rembert, Eric Wise, and Zack Atkinson having good games. More to come later.
