Great write up!

I, too really enjoyed this production, but I do have to disagree with your interpretation of Danforth. Yes, Miller describes the character as a man and this fits in with his setting the play in the 1600's, but this production is clearly set in modern times. The costumes and the set are contemporary, and it felt that this could have taken place in any small town today. Having Danforth played as female didn't detract from my experience.
