I did not know alan... or even seen him at UCR...yet I am mistaken. I once saw a young man in the Mechanical Engineering with the exact description as below. A man with headphones blasting and writing equations on the white board. "In fact, Alan spent so much time in the engineering lab, writing out new theories, equations and mapping out new concepts on the white board, headphones blasting, that he..." I did not know Alan but just from the little glimpse I got, I know the world has truly lost an angel; innocent and undeserving of death at a young age. I am filled with joy to remember the man I saw last December but grieve with the world of losing such a innocent soul. When I first heard of Alan’s death, it made me deeply sadden.
