What he said in his emails and in the police-recorded phone call don't register for you? Instead of calling the woman a "crazy girl", why not ask: if this alleged perpetrator isn't guilty, then is he mentally unstable or deficient for willfully implicating himself? Oh, and sexual assault may not be important to you and the board of regents, but given that roughly one in five female college students are victims before they graduate, this is no fluff issue.
