I’m In Love — With Sports, Don’t Come Between Us
The sports world devoured me when I was in the sixth grade. Despite watching Tony Siragusa knock Rich Gannon out of the 2001 AFC championship game and having a bitter taste in my mouth because the Oakland Raiders lost, I became engrossed with football. From that point on my love affair with sports only grew stronger as I began watching basketball, baseball and just about anything shown on television during the Olympics.

Earth Day has passed once again (let’s hope you planted a tree and picked up some litter this Saturday), but that’s no reason for us to get lax on our personal ecology. Saving the Earth is easy, after all. As a species we may be living at the edge of a precipice, but — if the “Go Green!” boosters are to be believed — there are simple things we can each do every day to avoid a cataclysm.
