Women’s Tennis
Irvine improves to an 8-3 record after a dominating 7-0 finish over the New Mexico State Aggies on Saturday at the Anteater Tennis Stadium. Ali Facey and Brooke Schweyer clenched an 8-0 win in their doubles match while the rest of the squad scored a straight singles victory, with the exception of Sarah Gong.
Women’s Water Polo
With a 9-4 win over No. 14 UC Davis at the UCI Invitational at Anteater Aquatics Complex, the ’Eaters made history on Saturday afternoon, making it the first time UCI appeared in the winner’s bracket.
Goalkeeper Jillian Yocum stopped nine shots, while Hannah Croghan led the Eaters with three goals.
