It’s game day.
They sit on the bench together, all three of them do.
For two gut-wrenching hours, Assistant Coaches Todd Lee, Tod Murphy and Terry Boesel of the UC Irvine Men’s Basketball team make notes, shout out instructions and provide game strategy to their players.
On this day, the Anteaters win and Head Coach Pat Douglass is typically the first one to be congratulated.
After the final buzzer rings, they shake hands with opposing players and coaches, head to the locker room and listen in on Douglass’ postgame talk.
Douglass then walks over to the media room and briefs the beat reporters
