The Amityville Horror-ible, Indeed
It usually isn’t a good sign when a movie has nine producers. It usually isn’t a good sign when the biggest star in a film hasn’t had a real hit in three years. It’s usually a really bad sign when a horror movie is taken on by a guy whose only other credit is a documentary about the Deep South. Taken all together, it’s easy to see why my expectations were so low when I walked into ‘The Amityville Horror.’
Luckily, those expectations, however low, were quickly surpassed.
