The Anteater Club Fair & BBQ filled Aldrich Park with a sea of students on Sept. 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. as one of over a hundred programs that were planned for UC Irvine’s Welcome Week. Students enjoyed music and live entertainment on two different stages on opposite sides of the park and, best of all, free food and refreshments. The park was teeming with over 270 different student organizations from around the campus with colorful booths, free stuff and, yes, flyers, to attract new Anteaters to various clubs and organizations.
‘We get to see a lot of the new freshmen and get our name out there.
