Thanks, High School Teachers

It’s sometimes interesting to go back and look at the catalysts that led us to where we are today. Today, I’m a computer scientist with a knack for writing. I can trace my computer savvy all the way back to elementary school with my first computer and some video games (getting Doom 2 to run on a 486 was a pain in the butt).
My writing addiction has been a much more recent phenomenon.
I know many of you felt that high school was simply a prelude to college and were just itching to take the SATs so that you could score your way into college. Others of us found meaning and purpose in high school.
There were those inspiring teachers who taught a subject in such a way that inspired certain aspirations in college.
They might not have been the most popular teachers, or the most enthusiastic teachers, or they might have even been boring to everyone else in the room
