Last season the UC Irvine baseball team hit 20 home runs in 60 games. Sixteen games into the 2007 season and the team has already launched 14 home runs.

Though ‘chicks might dig the long ball,’ Head Coach Dave Serrano’s philosophy has never been about playing for the home run
