Humanities Hosts Susan Orlean

At 7 p.m. on Tuesday April 29 in the UC Irvine Crystal Cove Auditorium, renowned literary journalist Susan Orlean discussed her new essay collection ‘My Kind of Place: Travel Stories From a Woman Who’s Been Everywhere.’
Orlean, who has been a staff writer for The New Yorker since 1982 and has published articles in Esquire, Rolling Stone and Vogue, has also authored several books such as ‘The Orchid Thief,’ which inspired the 2002 film ‘Adaptation.’
