Artsy Fartsy Events Going on this Week

Do you love art? Do you create art? Do you love to appreciate art, but have no idea how to create it? Whatever your answers were to the above questions, you will love Catalyst. Catalyst is an art show involving undergraduates, graduate students and faculty members who come together for eye pleasing displays created by their very own. There is music, there are refreshments and there are plenty of other art-lovers to meet and mingle with.
The art is displayed in the Catalyst Gallery, located in the second story of the ACT building. Whether you are an art student or not, you are able to submit your work for display. Opening night is this Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

Also, dear art lovers, visit the Beall Center for Art and Technology before December 6th from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for the new exhibition from Jennifer and Kevin McCoy, “Constant World.” This exhibition provides a very interesting, if not frightening, insight into our modern world and ideas about living. However, a wake up call will never hurt.
