ASUCI Spring 2011 Elections: Meet Your Executive Board Candidates
The New University sat down with 11 of the 14 ASUCI executive board candidates to ask them about their platforms, strengths and qualifications. Some of the questions asked included:
“Describe your platform in as few words as possible?”
“What do you see as the main role of the position you’re running for?”
“If you fail at everything in your term in office, what is the one thing you want to make sure you succeed in?”
“If you could change anything about campus, what would it be?”
Full platforms can be found on the ASUCI elections website, www.elections.uci.edu. The following profiles are snapshots of what each candidate represents, and are in no way an endorsement of any candidate. Presidential candidates Aubrey Bayoneta and Jacquelyn Seto, as well as executive vice president candidate Nicholas Bidwell did not respond to interview requests.
These profiles can be found on page 5 of this week’s New University, or online here.
